Buko Pandan
Now these days, I find that I am not very fond of any kind of sweets. For some reason after getting married,having a baby and so on, I rarely eat sweets. But before I love eating chocolates. I love the dark dove chocolates, hmm the one with the message..hahaha...glory days really passed as by so quickly...woooh...just had a flash back of the good ol' days...shhh secret..hahaha.
Anyway....as I've said lately I dont like eating sweets....but with an exception though when it comes to buko pandan. Everytime we go to a filipino resto I will always look at the dessert menu to see if they have Buko Pandan. Well sadly the only place that serve it, is Max's. And dont like going to Max's anymore. Why? because everytime we go there, something doesnt taste right . The sizzling Bangus is not sizzling and with the kare-kare I could tell that they've used a kare kare powder mixture because it havent totally dissolve...oh well. I've been craving for buko pandan and so I've asked my cousin if she knows how to make it and she does and I've found a buko pandan recipe too and so I've incorporated the two and the outcome hmm think made it too sweet but still need to chill it overnight and we'll see it how it is....

Well with buko pandan, need nestle cream,condensed milk, eggyolk optional,green jello unflavored, pandan, macapuno and green nata de coco... simmer the nestle cream,condensed milk and eggyolk need to be careful not to burn it...let it simmer till it is thick and stirring constantly. with the green gelatin cooked and cubed. mix all ingredients and viola....buko pandan.... A dessert that can be served to your guest and prepared on your "meza".
